Speaking of making things better, have you heard about the e-bike rebate program? With the weather getting nicer, it's the perfect time to think about hopping on an e-bike 🚴‍♂️ to explore our beautiful neighborhood.
And speaking of celebrations, let's not forget about our schools. Sunnyside elementary school Trevista at Horace Mann needs our support to keep their amazing paraprofessionals. These folks are key to making sure our kids grow up ready to take on the world 🌎.
Let's make this March one to remember for our community, our environment, and our kids.
Cheers,
The SUNI Board
P.S. If you are a recurring member you may have received an email canceling your payment. We are moving payment platforms and renewal notices will be coming in the future. Thanks for your patience!Â

Don't miss the chance to shape the future of West 38th Avenue!
The West 38th Avenue Corridor Study by Denver's DOTI aims to enhance mobility, safety, plan for Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), and explore greening opportunities. Building on prior studies and community feedback, the study will assess past recommendations against current needs to formulate a unified plan for future improvements and development.Â
The project, launched in December 2023 and concluding in about a year, involves a three-phase public engagement strategy: crafting a vision and gathering initial feedback, discussing design alternatives and collecting input, and finally presenting a preferred design. It also plans to identify immediate, low-cost solutions for urgent safety and mobility issues for implementation in the next fiscal year.
Your input is essential in driving meaningful change in Sunnyside. Thank you for taking the time to contribute to our community's growth!

We have made changes to make this program simpler, safer, and easier for Denverites to get out of cars and onto e-bikes. Since 2022, the e-bike rebate has put nearly 8,000 e-bikes on Denver's roads.
